Serving families across Canada
Guidance for families across Canada
I work with families by phone and video, so distance isn't a barrier. Insurance and investment licences are issued by each province, though, so whether I can advise you outside Ontario depends on where you live.

When distance isn’t a barrier.
- Families who live in Ontario and have relatives in other provinces
- People planning a move to Ontario who want to understand the system first

Common questions
Outside Ontario?
Can you help me if I live outside Ontario?
Possibly. Insurance and investment advisors must be licensed in each province where they advise clients. Tell me where you live, and I'll confirm whether I can help directly or point you towards someone licensed in your province.
We're moving to Ontario. Can we talk before we arrive?
Yes. A conversation before you move can help you understand how registered accounts, health coverage and insurance work in Ontario, so you can make good decisions in your first months. Formal advice and applications usually wait until you're a resident.
Do I need new insurance if I move provinces?
Your individual life, critical illness and disability policies generally stay in force when you move within Canada, but it's worth reviewing them. Workplace coverage may change with a new employer, and provincial health coverage has its own rules for new residents.
Let’s talk about your family’s plans.
A relaxed first conversation about where you are and where you'd like to be. Bring your questions — and your family, if you like.
