Who we are

This website is operated by Rahul Savani, who provides insurance and investment guidance in Ontario, Canada. References to “I”, “me” or “we” mean Rahul Savani. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect through this website

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred language, preferred contact method, the topics you select and any message you choose to write.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

The “Where should I start?” guide and the savings illustration run entirely in your browser. What you select is not stored or sent to us.

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

What we ask you not to send

Please don’t send your Social Insurance Number, bank or investment account details, passwords, credit card numbers, medical information or financial documents through this website or by ordinary email. If any of this is needed later in our work together, we’ll explain how to share it securely.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
• To provide the services you ask for, with your consent.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by a third-party email service provider, which processes them on our behalf. If you choose to apply for a product, the information needed for that application is shared with the relevant insurer or financial institution — only with your knowledge and consent. Service providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and for any related records we’re required to keep. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal or contractual limits). To make a request, contact us using the details below.
