About Rahul

Financial guidance, grounded in family.

I'm Rahul Savani, an insurance and investment advisor in Ontario, Canada. I work with families, newcomers and professionals who want clear, honest guidance — and someone who understands what family means to them.

This is my story

Why I do this work.

Most people don’t put off insurance or investing because they don’t care. They put it off because the options are confusing, the language is technical, and it’s hard to know who to trust.

My job is to change that. I take the time to understand your family — who depends on you, what you’re working towards, what keeps you up at night — and then explain your options in plain language, in English, Gujarati or Hindi.

I’m especially glad to help families who are new to Canada, and households looking after more than one generation. These are the situations where good advice makes the biggest difference.

If that sounds like your family, I’d be glad to hear your story — and to help you write the next chapter with a little more confidence.

How I work

The big money decisions happen at the kitchen table, not in a boardroom.

So that’s where the advice should start: with your family, your plans and your worries — and explanations everyone at the table can follow.

  • Explained plainly

You'll understand what you're buying and why — in English, Gujarati or Hindi. If something can't be explained simply, it probably isn't right for you.

  • Built around your family

Your household might include children, parents, or relatives overseas. Your plan should be built around who you're actually responsible for.

  • No pressure, ever

Good decisions take time. You can ask questions, talk it over at home and come back when you're ready.

  • Reviewed as life changes

A new job, a new baby, a new home. We revisit the plan when your life moves, so it keeps working for you.

Licensing & registration

You should always know who you’re working with.

Insurance and investment advisors in Canada must be licensed or registered. You can check any advisor’s status with the relevant regulator — and I encourage you to.

  • Insurance licence

Licence type, number and regulator (FSRA)

  • Investment registration

    Registration category and sponsoring dealer

  • Firm / agency affiliation

Your plan should be built around the people you're responsible for — every one of them.

The process

What working together looks like.

Four simple steps, at a pace that suits you. You'll always know what happens next.
  1. Step 1: A first conversation

We talk about your family, your goals and what's worrying you. No preparation needed and no decisions on the day.

    Start whenever you're ready

  2. Step 2: Understanding the picture

I look at what you already have — workplace benefits, savings, existing policies — and where the gaps are.

Nothing sold before the picture is clear

  3. Step 3: A clear recommendation

You get options with the trade-offs explained, including costs. You decide what feels right, in your own time.

Written down, so you can talk it over at home

  4. Step 4: Ongoing reviews

Life changes, so the plan should too. We check in regularly and whenever something big happens.

New job, new home, new family member

Let’s talk about your family’s plans.

A relaxed first conversation about where you are and where you'd like to be. Bring your questions — and your family, if you like.

Your message comes straight to me.— Rahul
